Hotel Iris

Honestly this place made me feel like I was just at home as some cguy. TV was in a neat spot for falling asleep, couple pieces of furniture, the bed was really soft and easy to skip alarms in, and the bathroom had some cool renovations such as lighting. The floor space for the entire room was amazing, it felt like the whole room that I had rented was an entire apartment. I honestly would stay here again if I needed to spend another night in San Diego. The transit station is only a 15 minute walk away.

Amazing stay. Yesenia is absolutely the best. We had a great stay. Good and clean hotel and very close to everything. Free just seconds away. Close to downtown San Diego and the beach as well. Location and for the price and cleanliness there is no better place.

Staff are great! Thank you Leo for all your help! I loved the pool! It may be cloudy and gloomy at the beach but it is sunny at Hotel Iris! The hot water in the shower was so great! We had a great stay. This is very conveniently located next to the I-8 freeway near the Hwy 163 interchange. I love independently owned hotels. It had a real vintage vibe. We had a great room that was facing the pool, so beautiful!

What stood out most during our stay was the hospitality. Every single staff member we interacted with was helpful, friendly, and truly seemed to care. When our luggage was delayed by the airline, the receptionist helped us call the airport and even gave us toiletries and slippers so we wouldn’t be stuck. These small acts of kindness made a big difference.

I was surprised when I got to the room. Excellent customer service from the gentleman in the lobby. Had patience with me with the deposit . I really appreciate this place. One of a kind. BLOWN AWAY!!! Deserves to come and experience this place to stay family friendly and absolutely beautiful. 10+/10.

The staff here are GREAT during the days especially. They are available 24 hours and usual have towels and basic necessities in the office should you need any. The rooms are a good size and have a mini fridge and microwave. Biggest issue I have is a lack of surface/drawer space. I have a room with 2 queen beds and nowhere put clothes or daily use items. There is a small vanity and A singular nightstand with a total of three drawers. The vanity Contains virtually no counter surface and there are two small runner tables. But overall can't beat three service and the property is in a great location.
